Profiling Grief in Electroencephalography (EEG)

About the Study

We are taking measurements on people who are in a state of grief, heartbreak, loss, or depression. In exchange for 20 minutes of measurements and filling out surveys, participants receive a free copy of their Quantitative Electroencephalogram (QEEG), a $750 value.

This experiment has been approved by Cottage Hospital Institutional Review Board.

If you are currently in a state of grief we invite you to sign up at the following link:

More Information

Dr. Tiff Thompson's observations have led to a preliminary study on how emotion manifests through electrical measurements. NeuroField Neurotherapy, Inc. is hosting the first scientific study associated with grief in Electroencephalography (EEG). It has the potential to elucidate a specific waveform common to people who are in a state of despair. This pattern is different from most classical brain waves and not always displayed in much of today's software, and so may have been overlooked until now.
