How It Works
-
1. We Assess Your Needs
In our initial evaluation and assessment process, you will meet with one of our licensed mental healthcare professionals so that your needs can be best determined, and we can explain our process and training modalities in full.
-
2. We Map Your Brain
Using EEG (Electroencephalograph) technology, we map your brain to determine its unique signature and assess your brain function. With many years of experience, we are amongst the most respected experts in the field at accurately reading EEG Brain Maps and brain activity.
-
3. We Design Personalized Protocols
A personalized protocol is established based on your brain map and assessment outcomes. We may see repetitive issues in brain function in common conditions, but each brain is unique, so we design a Neurotherapy program specifically for you.
-
4. We Use Neurostimulation to Retrain Your Brain
Although we have used Neurofeedback in the past, we are having exceptional results using Neurostimulation technology, which is why we believe these techniques to be the best present (and future) way to optimize human brain function.
-
5. We Follow Up with Results
After 10-15 sessions, we follow up with another EEG, conducting a thorough evaluation. At this time, we often see at 25-75% reduction in symptoms. We take a look at the results, compare and evaluate your metrics, and see if you require additional treatment.
Neurotherapy Treatment Process: What to Expect
The first three steps are required before treatment can begin:
PRE-TREATMENT ASSESSMENT ($950)
1. Initial Evaluation (1/3):
· Duration: 1 hour
· Requirements: Payment due 24hrs before the appointment. Completed digital intake forms are due 24hrs before the appointment. Optional to arrive early and fill out printed version.
· Focus: Discuss your medical history, symptoms, and reasons for seeking treatment.
· Booking: This appointment will be with Dr. Dogris or Dr. Thompson, in-person or online via Zoom.
2. CNS Cognitive Assessment & Pre-Treatment EEG & ERP (2/3):
· Duration: 2 hours (can be broken into 2 separate appointments, 1 hour for each)
· Part 1 – CNS Cognitive Assessment: Conducted in-office.
· Part 2 - Pre-Treatment EEG & ERP Brain Map Assessment: Ensure clean, dry hair and come without being hungry, tired, or hung-over.
· Booking: This appointment will be in person with a neurotechnician.
3. QEEG Report + Review/Analysis (3/3):
· Duration: 1 hour
· Content: Doctor reviews EEG brain map results and establishes a treatment plan. Scheduled a few days to a week after the EEG session.
· Booking: This appointment will be with Dr. Dogris or Dr. Thompson, in-person or online via Zoom.
Treatments:
· Cost: $150 per stimulation treatment, conducted by a neurotechnician, in-person.
· Frequency: Each round of treatment is considered 10-15 treatment sessions, recommended at 3-5 times/week. Recommended number of sessions or rounds of treatments is dependent on each client’s individual case.
Post-Treatment Series Appointments:
· After Completing 10-15 treatments, the patient will undergo a post-treatment CNS Cognitive Assessment, post-treatment EEG Brain Map, and a 30-60 minute Follow-Up with the doctor to assess progress and adjust the protocol if needed. The two post-treatment assessments will be in person. The follow-up appointment with the doctor can be in-person or via Zoom.
Insurance and Reimbursement:
· Insurance Policy: We no longer directly accept insurance payments for Neurotherapy treatments.
· Reimbursement: We can provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance. For reimbursement. You can call your insurance and check your coverage with the following CPT codes: 90876, 95816, 95957.
Still Unsure? Have Questions?
· Consultation Option: Schedule a 30-minute ($100) or 60-minute ($200) appointment. Speak directly with the doctor, ask questions, and address concerns.

Why We Recommend The Intensive Model
The intensive training is the most economical and effective of our treatment series, appropriate for out-of-town clients or for those that are suffering from moderate to severe pathologies.

Understanding Brainwaves
Brainwaves are categorized by frequency, which is “the power or speed of the electrical emissions, measured in oscillations per second, or hertz (hz). The brainwaves break down into Delta (1-4Hz), Theta (5-8Hz), Alpha (9-12Hz), SMR (13-15Hz), Beta (16-40Hz) and Gamma (40+ Hz).

What is neurostimulation?
Neuromodulation, also known as neurostimulation, makes us different from other neurofeedback practitioners.
Neuromodulation includes transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS), transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS), transcranial random noise stimulation (tRNS), and pulsed electromagnetic field stimulation (pEMF).
These various modalities are used in customized and nuanced ways to aid our clients’ brain a’ brain and body function.
