Nicholas Dogris, Ph.D. QEEGDT
Dr. Nicholas Dogris is a highly accomplished psychologist, neuroscientist, and neurotechnology innovator with over 25 years of experience in the field of EEG-based neurotherapy. He is the CEO and co-founder of NeuroField, Inc., a pioneering company specializing in advanced neurostimulation and neuromodulation technologies. In addition to his work in research and development, Dr. Dogris is a licensed psychologist who operates a private clinic in Santa Barbara, California, alongside his wife, where he integrates cutting-edge neurotherapy techniques into clinical practice.
Dr. Dogris holds board certification in neurofeedback and is a diplomate in Quantitative EEG (QEEG-D), demonstrating his expertise in brainwave analysis and neuromodulation. His journey in neurofeedback began in the 1990s when he trained under Margaret Ayers, one of the field’s pioneers. Over the years, he has worked with and mastered numerous EEG platforms, contributing to the advancement of brain-based therapeutic interventions.
In 2007, Dr. Dogris co-founded NeuroField, Inc. with engineer Brad Wiitala, marking the beginning of a new era in neurostimulation technology. Together, they developed the first EEG-synchronized pulsed electromagnetic field (pEMF) stimulation system that utilized z-score data analysis and real-time feedback, a groundbreaking achievement in the field of neuromodulation.
Over the past decade, Dr. Dogris and Wiitala have continued to innovate, designing and refining state-of-the-art neuromodulation techniques, including synchronized transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS), transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS), transcranial random noise stimulation (tRNS), and advanced pink noise stimulation, all integrated within the NeuroField64 software platform.
Dr. Dogris’s work has been instrumental in bridging the gap between neuroscience, psychology, and technology, providing clinicians with powerful tools to enhance cognitive function, regulate brain activity, and improve mental health outcomes. His dedication to advancing the field of neurofeedback and neuromodulation continues to influence practitioners and researchers worldwide.
Dr. Dogris is the director of the neurorehabilitation department at FHE Health in Deerfield Beach, Florida
